Erzbergrodeo 2026: 30th Anniversary Date Confirmed – Save The Date

The 30th anniversary edition of the notorious extreme enduro, the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, has been scheduled — mark your calendars for June 4–7, 2026.
Preparations are well underway for the milestone event, as the enormous open-pit mine in central Austria gets ready to welcome top off-road motorcycle competitors and countless enduro riders from around the world.
Erzbergrodeo Turns 30
Starting in 1995 as a tough off-road motorcycle competition — essentially a race to the summit of the mine — Erzbergrodeo has evolved over the years into a full-blown Extreme Enduro festival.
Numerous superlatives have been coined around the Iron Mountain, and it’s said that the very phrase “Extreme Enduro” originated at Erzberg.

Over 35,000 competitors from more than 55 countries across all continents have taken part in the 29 editions of the event, with over one million passionate motorsport fans visiting what’s become known as the “Woodstock of Extreme Enduro Sports.”
Katoch on the 30th Anniversary
Karl Katoch, the driving force behind it all, shares that preparations for the 2026 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo are well underway:
