“From California, USA, we’re welcoming Josh Mosiman, a major name in the enduro world,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event, organizer of GGN. “Josh is a journalist for Motocross Action Magazine and travels the world testing and reviewing different competitions. He’ll be coming to Gotland with a camera crew, another rider, and his wife. The connection was made possible through our Norwegian contact, Gjermund Frostad.”

SWECON and electric motorcycle manufacturer Stark Future are continuing their collaboration around GGN, fielding a fully electric team to promote sustainable motorsport. The team, competing on the Stark Varg, features several well-known riders:

  • From France, none other than motocross legend and two-time world champion Sébastien Tortelli, a true icon of the sport.
  • Also from France, David Herbreteau joins the lineup.
  • Representing Spain, popular enduro influencer Daniel Sánchez will compete.
  • The team also includes Anna Palander, a professional stunt and motocross rider.

All four riders will compete on the electric Stark Varg, proving that electric power can be both competitive and sustainable.

“Stark Varg, in partnership with SWECON, took part in 2024 with a different lineup. It will be exciting to see how this year’s team performs now that they know the track, the format, and have further developed both the motorcycles and their battery capacity,” adds Conny Bohlin.

“Our partnership last season was never meant to be a one-time project,” says Fredrik Rigö, Head of Marketing Communications at Swecon. “We continue to push and develop the transition — not only in the construction industry but also in motorsport. Together with Stark Future, we’re showing how enduro can become more sustainable through electrification and smarter material choices, while also helping GGN reduce its climate footprint.”
